Geocache Description:

Festivus for the rest Of Us!

The cache is at the listed coordinates. To log this cache you will need to first fulfill the requirements.

Holidays...we all love ‘em. Some mean a day off of work, some family, food and fellowship, or some give us a great day for caching. Here are 12 all-American holidays for you to recognize, honor, and remember. I know there are many more holidays I could have chosen from, but I consider these the big ones.

The Challenge: Find 12 caches with the names of the 12 holidays in their titles listed below:

New Year’s Day or New Year
Valentine’s Day or Valentine
Presidents Day or President
St Patrick’s Day , Paddy’s or Paddy
Easter Day, or Easter
Memorial Day or memorial
4th of July, Independence or Independence Day
Halloween
Veterans Day or Veteran
Thanksgiving Day or Thanksgiving
Christmas
Birthday

Rules
  • Caches can be found in any state or country to meet the criteria.
  • Only one cache per Holiday may be used. In other words, if a cache contains two holidays in its name you may only use one of the holidays.
  • There is no date restriction. Previous finds are acceptable, including on archived caches.
  • Only physical caches may be used for this challenge. Sorry, no event caches!
  • Provide a list of the holiday finds in your online log. Include: Holiday, Cache GC#, Cache Name, and Date Found. Or create a booklist with this cache listed at the top of the list.
