This is part of a Star Wars tribute series that culminates in the bonus cache, The Skywalker Legacy.
R2-D2, the droid entrusted with the plans to the Death Star later becomes the faithful sidekick to Luke Skywalker. We learned also that R2 was the astro-droid who saved Queen Amadal and her entourage from capture by the Trade Federation.
