Geocache Description:

This is a beautiful beach at the mouth of the Navarro river about 15 miles S of Mendocino on the coast highway.

Park near the restrooms at the far end of the parking area. You will see a large whit drift wood log near the pay station post, sit on it and look around, then look in the end for Bea's bee.

As you drive in you will pas the Captain Fletcher's Inn witch was established if the early 1880's. This used to be a very active lumber mill.

If you walk South on the beach and look up on the bluff you can see the remains of the old coast road. Be very careful if you want to walk in the surf as there is a very strong undertow (and the water is very cold);
