ARCHIVING CACHE

As there's been no cache to find for a while, I'm archiving your cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the very near
future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Thanks a MILLION, Glenn

Geocache Description:

My family and I call this area Helicopter park. It is really Morse Park but my kids know best by Helicopter Park. You don't have to go on the road to get the cache. Not really all that close to the helicopter.

Permission granted by Todd Banes, Neosho Parks and Recreation Director.

Small magnetic key holder.

A military related ghostly sighting in the area is connected to a former Army helicopter now on display in the city's Morse Park. Although the helicopter was disabled so that it could not be flown, park goers have reported seeing a man at the controls, a neat feat since the helicopter is displayed about 20 feet in the air and is unreachable from the ground. Some even claim that he is a local boy, a Vietnam era soldier who perished in his copter in 'Nam.
