Geocache Description:

Across the street from a Virginia Beach landmark. The Green Oak is no longer here but this cache aims to keep the memory alive.

Last year, VA Beach lost a great pub. The Green Oak Pub was a fine establishment once full of merriment and loud music.

My old band had a weekend slot and we had the time of our lives playing here. I hope that by placing this cache here, a little bit of that joy and spirit would remain.
