This cache was hidden to start a race between our family's travel bugs. We are going to track and see which car travels the most miles. We hid this cache in Lynches Woods because we have spent many hours here hiking, biking, and picnicing, starting when we were kids up to now taking our kids. We hope you enjoy this area as much as we do. The terrain is a little difficult and tricky so be careful.
We hid this cache over a year ago in hopes that a cacher would stumble upon it either by using exceptional geosenses or sheer luck.
IT HAPPENED. AFTER SITTING IN THE WOODS FOR LITTLE OVER A YEAR, IT WAS FOUND. CONGRATULATIONS SUCCOTASH.
This is a meduim size container big enough to hold small trade items. If you hike to it via the hiking trail starting at the parking lot, it's about a 3 mile hike one way. If you drive to it, you can park just before getting to the 2 mile marker post and start your search. We recommend enjoying the scenery by hiking in and finding the other caches in the park. The hiking trail is 8.5 miles long round trip, but the road is a little over 4 miles. If you are worried about getting lost, you can get a map by googling Lynches Woods and printing one.
Hope you enjoy the park as much as we do. Be careful with roots and rocks while you're hiking.
