Geocache Description:

Yes, I still hate (well maybe just dislike) pine tree caches!

The I Hate Pine Tree Caches (IHPTC) series came about when a number of us decided that we hated hunting caches in pine trees.

Yes Marci, (LuvWahoo) we love your caches even if they are in pine trees. We do this to honor you and the large number of caches you put out. Some of us just groan when we see a pine tree - but we still hunt them.

For those of you who haven't hunted Marci's Pine Trees Make Me Drool (PTMMD) series you don't know what you're missing. We just had to come up with something to balance them out. The one thing that the IHPTC caches will have in common will be that they will NOT be in a pine tree!

If you are interested in joining the fun with an IHPTC cache or two (or ten) of your own, click HERE for more information.

This cache is NOT at the location above - which you probably already knew if you have done any puzzle caches. The location above will take you to the first part of the puzzle.

The sign at this location will direct you to the various points of interest in the park. It's laid out in three sections - left, straight, and right. From the group that has "Fishing Docks" in it, count the number of lines in that section and multiply by 100. Add 101 and you have the value "aaa".

The challenge for this location is to not stop and stare at the sign because there are 3 cars behind you impatiently waiting to move on.

The next clue location is at N 41 08.596 W 81 27.205 (see waypoints below). To the east steps lead up to the soccer field. To the south of these steps are several wooden posts. Count the total number of posts including the one right next to the steps. This will be value "C".

To the north of the steps is a sign that prohibits hitting something. At the bottom of the sign is an ordinance number. The three digits that start the ordinance number is "D".

To calculate "bbb" add "C" and "D" then add 23. For example, if "C" was 7 and "D" was 313 you would calculate: 7 + 313 + 23 = 343 (don't try to use this number - it's not even close).

The final is located at N 41 08.aaa W 81 27.bbb and is a 35mm film can placed in the usual location. This cache will require EXTREME STEALTH at times. If the field is busy you will have to be extra sneaky. It should not be as much of a problem in the off season but the park is used year round.

This is a park so NO NIGHT CACHING!
