This nice little city reserve is named after Sol Green, an English Bookmaker that emigrated to Australia in 1883.
In 1886 my beloved Arsenal Football Club was formed. Sol Campbell was signed by Arsenal in 2001 after spending 10 years playing for North London rivals Tottenham. This caused much of a stir in the English Premier League with Campbell receiving hate mail, abuse and death threats from Tottenham supporters angered at his defection.
He was however justified in his move to the Gunners as in his first season he won the league and FA cup at the club. In 10 years at Tottenham he had won only one league cup. With Arsenal, he went on to win another league title in the unbeaten "invincible's" season in 2004. 2 more FA Cups and 2 Community Shields.
Sol returned to Arsenal in 2010 to help the team in a defensive crisis and played 11 times becoming only the 3rd player to play 18 top flight seasons in England's top division.
Its a tenuous link but I prefer my Sol!
The cache is a small bison container, please replace this with care so that others can find it. Also beware of the nearby muggle dwellings.
