This series is placed in pretty woodland near my home, where I walk my dog most days.
This cache is a small cameo'd clip lock box.
**PLEASE NOTE In each container there is a letter and number to collect so that you can solve the puzzle-and find the last container.
The footpaths are good but can get muddy. The only downside is the traffic noise from the nearby road which gets less noticable as you go into the woods.
Parking is available on the nearby roads although it can get a bit busy when there are lots of visitors at the Museum-a branch of the Natural History Museum and well worth a visit whilst you are in the area. Tring is a small market town-with plenty of cafes and restaurants.
Stubbing's Wood is owned by Dacorum Borough Council and the caches are placed with permission of the Woodland Officer.
This cache brings back memories for me of the (not very clear) total eclipse. I stood near here with my 2 sons and one of their friends all of us wearing the special glasses-and all 3 boys standing with their hands in their pockets in identical poses-being cool.
