Boghead Wood is relatively new having been planted in 1992 on the site of an old quarry. The name "Lenzie" itself may mean "wet meadow" and Boghead Wood is situated just across from Lenzie Moss, a boggy, marshy area that has peat bogs and several acres of woodland.
Enter the wood from Boghead Road. Fork left. Cache is to be found just after paths converge. The cache is in a plastic box and contains a notebook, pencil and small toys.
