Tim Bits or Robin's Eggs Traditional Cache
Glener: No fun having a cache that no one finds. Paddled out there today and picked up a rock. Thanks to the cachers who attempted to find it. Will place elsewhere.

The cache is a small bison tube but it is concealed within another host!
This geocache is located in Carlton Trail Regional Park.
Historical information: This park became a regional park in 1972. In the 1950s, John From built a small summer park to provide some recreation facilities in the area. Two man made lakes, golf course and a few campsites were built. Further historical information is available in the clubhouse/canteen when it is open during the spring/summer/fall.
What's in the name: The park is located along what was the most important overland route through nineteenth-century Saskatchewan. The Carlton Cart Trail linked Fort Garry with Edmonton House during the fur trade era. There is currently a red river cart on display within the park.
The park today: Currently, the park contains the original two man-made lakes (one reserved for swimming, the other has cabins and may be stocked for anglers), a golf course (nine hole, rolling terrain, grass greens with club and cart rentals available), restaurant/lounge, and an events building. The swimming lake has near it modern playground equipment and picnic area. The fishing lake is stocked with pickerel (sometimes) and only canoes, paddle boats and electric motor boats are allowed (although anything with a motor may not fit). Other notable places within the park include a birding trail, ball diamond and mini-golf.
The two man made lakes have been unimaginatively named the North Lake and the South Lake however to the locals they are known as the Swimming Lake and the Doughnut Lake!
Please be aware that at certain times of the year Regional Park admission fees apply.
