There is single date on which only a small fraction of
geocachers have ever logged a cache......this particular date has
only happened twice in geocaching history, February 29, also known
as leap day.
Everyone who logs a “Found it” or
“Attended” this February 29 will receive the Leap Day
Souvenir on their profile.

Join us from 11:30am until 1:00pm at Sussex Inn for a geocacher's
get together.
Cachers will probably stay later geochatting; the log book will be
available during the posted time frame.
(Park in back and enter via the restaurant entrance in back; the
log will be in the section closest to the back door. There is very
little parking in front.)
Please indicate how many will attend in your "will attend" log
so Sussex Inn can plan accordingly for lunch needs.
**Each team is responsible for their own purchases.**
When: Wednesday, February 29th 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Where: N64 W23300 Main Street in Sussex @ Sussex Inn
Who: All geocachers are welcome.....new to seasoned
cachers.
Why: Enjoy lunch with fellow geocachers and share in their
caching experiences and to.....
.....fuel up for some caching,
.....refuel from your morning of caching,
.....or to just have lunch with other geocachers!
Should be a fun time!
And did we mention..........You can access the Bugline Trail from
the parking lot!
******************************************************************************************************
There are over 250 caches within 5 miles of the event if you want
to get in some caching and wear off your lunch after the
event.
This location is also very near the Bugline Trail which goes from
Merton to Menomonee Falls with caches all along the trail!
The Bugline Recreation Trail is a 14-mile trail located on the
former Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Pacific Railroad
right-of-way.
At present, it stretches between Appleton Ave (S.T.H 175) in
Menomonee Falls and Main Street (C.T.H. VV) in the Village of
Merton.
Bring your bikes or go for a walk.
