Cache is a film canister, in woodpecker place.
A Pilaster is a pillar with one flat side. The one laying on the ground was cut and polished right here in Redstone Quarry, but for some reason, was rejected. All the better for us, it is impressive. It is also, not "red". Redstone Quarry had pink and green granite. This stone is green.
This area is full of old roads, new bike paths, snowmobile trails and foot paths. Have fun exploring this once active industrial site.
Please Note: You should not enter the area as originally described. (I removed that waypoint.) Walk in as if you were doing the other three caches NW of Pilaster. Or, better yet, pull onto Hemlock Lane (between the Bike shop and Walmart. At the end is a big cul-de-sac. Now, being winter, there are two mountains of sand there. But, to the right of the right-most one is a snowshoe path to the snowmobile trails.
