Geocache Description:

An ammo can in the woods - gotta love it!

I MOVED THE CACHE A VERY SHORT DISTANCE DUE TO IT BEING TAKEN, THE COORDINATES I GOT DO NOT REFLECT THE CORRECT POSTION SO I WILL UPDATE THE COORDINATES AS SOON AS I CAN GET BACK OUT THERE.

PLACE THE CACHE BACK EXACTLY AS FOUND AND COVER WELL, I have replaced it three times already. Thank you in advance and happy caching

- Congrats to Wckd Soul and Grandpa Gene for using thier eyes to be FTF -

This cache is located in a part of the park which is less travelled, you may run into thorns, poison ivy and ticks. During the warmer months snakes will be out and about so be alert.

Please replace the cache exactly as found. If you take something leave something of equal or greater value.

VA has numerous varieties of non-venomous snakes such as Black Rat, Black Racer and Hog Nose Snakes. There are also four types of venomous snakes in VA, they are the Copperhead, Cottonmouth(Water Moccassin), Rattlesnake(Timber & Canebrake) and the seldom seen Coral Snake.

In Virginia, one way to tell whether a snake is Venomous is by eye pupil shape. The non-venomous snakes in VA have a round pupil like the human eye. VA's venomous snake species have an elliptical pupil like a Cat's eye.

If you see a snake it is always best to give it a wide berth, pupil shape is effective in identifying whether a snake is venomous or not but I do not reccommend approaching too closely, if you cannot tell from a safe distance don't take a chance.

Be safe and enjoy this nice little park.
