Geocache Description:

Rhyne Scene is located adjacent to the pedestrian / cycle path between Brampton Way and Heron Gardens in Portishead. Access is easy, and finding the cache does not require risk taking!

Rhyne Scene is a small (12x10x3cm) plastic box containing the log, a pencil and sharpener, and some small swap items. Parking nearby is straightforward. Access to the location is easy, but take some care near the rhyne (or for those like us who are from outside Somerset, the ditch) edges.

Remember to bring some bread for the ducks, moor hens and occasional swans which will appear if you wait on the bridge for long.

From this cache the rhyne can be followed northwards past Ye Olde Bridge, Save our Souls and The Ox caches all the way to the Severn. There are pathways close to the water for the entire journey.
