Originally build by the Government as the Dominion Training School for Dental Nurses. The building was designed by the Government Architect J.T Mair. From its opening until the end of the 1980’s children from many schools in Wellington came to have their teeth treated at the “Dental Clinic”
Now redeveloped as apartments the original plaques marking the opening of the building have been restored and retained at the entrance.
The Cache is not hidden on or in the grounds of the building, using the plaques you will need to do the following to discover its location.
A = The number of letters in the first name of the Prime Minister
B = The third number minus the last number of the year the training became part of Wellington Polytechnic
C = Number of marble plaques
D = Sum of the first and last digits of the street number
E = The second digit of the day in May the building was opened plus 2
F = The first digit of the date in April minus 1
G = Last digit of the year the stone was laid by the Prime Minister
H = The number of letters in the word above the wall light
Cache is at :- S 41 1A.(BCD-28) - E174 4E.(FGH-29)
Please NOTE that you must sign the log book for each individual cacher, Finds logged not corresponding with the logbook may be deleted.
