Geocache Description:

Went for another bike ride in the area this morning and figured another hide was in order.

The area has grown back since the fire two years ago. The river is beautiful as always. Summer brings waterfowl, including pelicans, geese, and ducks. Spring and fall will display the new flowers and changing colors. Winter allows for chilly walks/rides and you may catch an ice climber scaling the southern face of the canyon. Cache is an easily-found ammo can once you make the trek in from the parking area. You can probably turn off your GPSr when you are within 100 feet of ground zero. Never know where the snakes and ticks are so be careful and have fun. Cache is named for the survey marker close by. Did you find it?
