goffyoffy: This cache was placed along a fence line of a property where the owner is uncomfortable with strange persons maybe entering on to the land. A notice emphasizing it is not accessible to the public is in place. I have made other cache placements along this trail to compensate for removing this one. Happy caching !

THIS IS THE SECOND CACHE I HAVE PLACED ON THIS CYCLE/WALKWAY. THE PATH IS APPROXIMATELY 5Km LONG AND IS A NEW ADDITION TO THE ALREADY EXTENSIVE CYCLE/WALKWAY SYSTEM IN AND AROUND NAPIER. STARTING AT THE SMALL NEW BRIDGE AT THE SIDE OF PREBENSON DRIVE, I HAVE MADE THIS THE START OF THE WALK/RIDE FROM THIS END BECAUSE THERE IS SAFER PARKING AT THE PUBLISHED CO-ORDS
NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THIS PART OF THE WALKWAY AS IT IS A SENSITIVE WILDLIFE AREA (Department of Conservation sign at the first gate)
FINISHES ON STATE HIGHWAY28 NEAR THE ESTUARY.
THERE IS ONLY THE LOG BOOK, SO NO ROOM FOR SWAPS/TB'S AND YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN WRITING STICK,
