Centerfield

John Fogerty has one of the most recognizable voices in the music industry! He was the singer, songwriter and lead guitarist for Creedence Clearwater Revival until the group disbanded in 1972. Since then, Fogerty has released several solo records including the 1985 hit album "Centerfield" featuring the song by the same name. The guitar he played for this song is nicknamed “Slugger,” and the original instrument was donated by Fogerty to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
The Paragons of Science! love watching baseball, and are also big fans of Creedence and John Fogerty. He often performs at a casino venue nearby. Check out this video of Fogerty playing “Centerfield” in a recent live performance.
