Geocache Description:

Chikuzen minoshima station is a station was once Hakata-ku, Fukuoka.

筑前簑島駅（ちくぜんみのしまえき）は、かつて福岡県福岡市博多区美野島3丁目にあった日本国有鉄道筑肥線の廃駅です。
筑肥線と福岡市地下鉄1号線の直通運転が開始されたのに伴い、筑肥線の博多駅 - 姪浜駅間は廃線となったため、この駅も廃駅となりました。

駅のすぐ東側で国道385号と交差しており、国道が線路上をまたぎこす立体交差（陸橋）となっていました。そのためこの陸橋は今では意味のないもになってます。陸橋の下には機関車の煙の跡が残っています。
