Geocache Description:


This cache is located on the bridleway that used to be the Old Suffolk Road. It was shown as a road in the 1814 map of the area, but now the main road passes through the nearby village of Dalham. This bridleway starts at the Dalham Road and travels cross country almost reconnecting to the Lidgate Road (B1085) further south. The connection has been lost over the years and the bridleway now peters out in a tree lined path to the last field before the road. The track to the cache offers superb views across the valley to the nearby Lower Windmill at Dalham.
