Geocache Description:

Micro cache located in the old Los Angeles Zoo in Griffith Park. Small enough for TBs and log. BYOP

Located in the old Los Angeles Zoo park, which was originally built in the 1930s by the Works Progress Administration. Come explore the old dilapidated enclosures and see what humans make of them. Now that the animals are long gone, the structures are primarily used for picnics, graffiti, and behind-bars photo shoots. You will marvel at how far (or not far at all) zoological sciences have come in the last century! Beware of snakes, coyotes, and rusty pipes.
