This cache gets quite wet and slippery. It also harbours slugs and snails from time to time! The cache container should remain water-tight.
WARNING: This really can be Muggle Central!! We strongly advice "quiet periods" as you WILL be watched! On sunny days and at lunchtimes, LOTS of people gather here.
STEALTH and GUILE: -
Distractions include - squirrels up the tree, the lovely maramlade cat that lives near here, masquerading as an arborist, pretend you are looking for gophers!
However, at certain times, it can be surprisngly peaceful here. Sundays, early morning and early evening maybe a good times to do this cache?
Near the boundary of the 'Bishop's Palace', the overpowering aroma of fish and chips might bring sudden hunger pangs!
Of course one cannot ignore the proximity of the stunning Cathedral - a truly beautiful and imposing building. Always worth a visit.
However, the focus for this cache is less grand but interesting nonetheless.

The structure - The Spire, (that Inspired us), is the remnant of the steeple of St. John's Church, Northgate Street. The Church itself was demolished in 1732 and the new Church opened in 1734. This is well worth a visit. Many items from the original Church have been retained.
DO TAKE CARE NOT TO TREAD ON THE DAFFODILS
Secure the cache for other cachers to find - NOT Muggles!!
