This is our first cache and is tucked away near a cut-through we use to get to our local shops and pub, hence the name. If you want to find out more about this local character check out GC1G4GQ which gives more details, as well as being a great cache.
This is a well used path and stealth will be needed! If you come in the spring the cherry trees lining this path are full of blossom and make the walk to get the milk a very pleasant one! I hope this is a good location and the hide is suitable, but we would welcome any feedback to help us with any future caches we hide.
You are looking for a cylinder, about 7cm long, wrapped in black insulating tape. Please ensure the stopper is well replaced as I the location may get wet at times and the cache has ended up with a damp log book at times. I've replaced the version 2 container with version 1 as the camo tape seemed to be making the whole cache damp!
PLEASE NOTE (Oct 2012):- The cache location can get damp at times depending on the weather. The cache container is nominally watertight, but water will leak in after a while. The Log is now in a plastic zip-lock bag to keep it dry, please ensure it gets returned to the bag and sealed before you put it back, I have just had to take the cache home and dry it out as the original bag disappeared some time ago. If you find the log and there is no bag, or it is getting damp please let me know!
