Geocache Description:

This Flat Earth Society night cache takes you into Wharton State Forest to find the trolls treasure.


From the parking area there is a short trek down an abandoned railway to the Troll Bridge. Find the troll's toll cache to get the directions to the troll trail. Once you are on the troll trail, follow their "belly gems" to the location of their hidden cache. Three gems indicate the trailhead, two gems indicate a turn, and one gem means you're on the trail. Depending on the season you may need 4WD to get to the parking area. It is also possible to get to the first stage without getting wet. There are two stages that are both in pill sized containers. Bring your own pen, and be sure to wear orange during hunting season. Don't cache beyond your ability.
