There is ample parking within Grass Lawn Park, but it can be over-utilized when multiple teams are playing soccer or softball. The final is located outside of the park, about 1 mile away as the crow flies. (Most will prefer to bike or drive to the final.)
Visit Grass Lawn Park and see what is left of the 2010 Low Impact Development demonstration projects. The demonstration included a vegetated "green" roof; porous pavement; and a rain garden. These features cleanse and slow rain water to protect the salmon that spawn downstream in Peter's Creek.
Rain Garden
At this waypoint, you will find a sign that showcases the rain garden that is located behind the fence. The sign explains the basic steps to building a rain garden.

Porous Pavement
Sadly, none of the porous pavement that was installed in the demonstration project has stood the test of time, all of them were removed and replaced with traditional pavement. There is substantial natural groundwater expressing to the ground surface and the pavement didn't hold up or function properly.

Green Roof
Next to the tennis courts, you will find a sign explaining all about green roofs. From here, you can see all the plants growing from the top of City's maintenance building. The sign has a list of "green roof benefits" to people and the environment.

The coordinates of the final location can be found by reviewing the information at the referenced waypoints and completing the equations. Please obey parking signs near the final location. Watch for large trucks when crossing the street. With a little patience, you can find a close place to park and then walk to GZ. Once at GZ, there is no need to leave the sidewalk. Bring a writing implement.
