This is a large sized container,easy to find and in an easily accessible place, intended for both a Travel Bug stopover as well as regular trading.
" The Cache is located in the front yard of our house. It's current location is not where it was originally placed - it is no longer at the entrance of the subdivision - it has a new home close to our home. You can park right out front, and you only need to walk up to the garden in front of the house and look there. We put it there so it is easy access. Please only go there during the daylight hours. If you see us, say hi!"
If you can't find it without hunting, you missed something or it isn't there anymore. It is rated 1/2 and should be both easy to find and easy to access. .
I suggested this location so it would be both easy for them to access and maintain,being close to their home and easy for people off the highway to do so as well.
The intent of this cache is for trading of normal objects, signing the log and getting an easy smiley, and as a TB Hotel. It is not a TB prison. You are not expected to trade any number of TBs in or out. Just remember TBs are not normal trading items; they have a goal, and if you are unwilling to place them in another cache within a reasonable period of time, please leave them for someone who will.
It is a fairly large container, and should accomodate most travel bugs, with the exception of vehicles, cinder blocks and the like. (I have seen some large TBs in my time!) It also closes a little differently from most ammo boxes. Please make sure the clasps on BOTH SIDES are secure before you leave, in order to keep the contents well protected from the elements. If you have trouble getting it to close and seal, post that in your log as soon as possible.
Stop by, sign the log, trade some stuff and enjoy! Maybe you can help a lost and lonely travel bug get closer to meeting its goal!
