This is a tribute to Pio Clan's 1000th cache found. Long over due! This guy doesn't slow down!
When I took Pio Clan out for his first geocache run, it was a lunch excursion on a snowy December day. When we arrived at GZ , he was climbing the walls trying figure out what to look for. He even had the cache in his hands not knowing he had it. I had him recheck his work, ( as always) and told to pull something out and viola, he was hooked! It was like a 5 year old walking into a candy store and it's been like that for every cache after that.
Over the many lunch runs, record day caching, and family outings, Pio Clan has developed his own creed of caching and they are:
1. Never leave a stone unturned.
2. Never take the easy way if it's not a straight line to GZ. Let him go first and he'll blaze a trail for you.
3. Never let a DNF idle. Prepare to receive a email from him in 24 hours for hints or confirmation.
4. Loves all types of caches. There is value in easy P&G's.
5. Always have a pen with you at all times!
