This cache is an addition to our string of caches out through Numinbah Valley.
From here you can divert to some caches in near Hinze Dam or continue on along the road to Numinbah and beyond.
The drive through Numinbah Valley is a very pretty and enjoyable drive and will take you to the interesting Natural Arch/Natural Bridge feature towards the end of the valley and beyond into New South Wales.
If you choose to divert first and drive into the newly opened areas of the heightened Hinze Dam you will see the newly developed day areas around the dam and learn quite a bit at the newly built Visitors Centre where you can also purchase some refreshments. There are also some new caches in the vicinity of the dam.
At this corner there is a memorial to a man called Cameron. It appears he may have passed away near this spot in what may have been a traffic accident. Please respect this location accordingly.
Please make sure you are parked safely away off the corner and off the roadway. Watch any children with you carefully.
