Geocache Description:

You are looking for an aluminium tube at the base of a tree. It is tethered by a stainless wire which may aid discovery. Sadly the original container had to be replaced due to persistent "muggling". Please bring a writing implement and take care retrieving and replacing the cache as it is an area well frequented by muggles. Beckenham Place Park was a regular childhood haunt and many happy days were spent there during the holidays. It covers 96 hectares and is the largest green space in the LB Lewisham. The park forms part of the Green Chain Walk and is on the Capital Ring. Take time to explore the park, and maybe if the weather permits have a paddle in the River Ravensbourne. This cache is placed with permission of Lewisham Council. With thanks to VM for her help with this aspect.
