This cache has been archived.

IgnotusPeverell: Greetings. I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers for geocaches submitted to Geocaching.com.

This geocache is located on SWA or STL property. Notices were posted by Geocaching HQ on August 5, and September 2 to add the required text to educate players about permit requirements. The deadline was September 30, and that date has passed. Unfortunately, this geocache is now being archived. This geocache cannot be unarchived.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

State Wildlife area, you turn off right before you go into Lake Pueblo State Park from Pueblo West side. No fees. Parking available at start of trail: N 38 17.3791 W 104 48.3544

Log book and small items, no pen in cache. Small camoflaged container about 1.5" high by 4 inches wide. Started it off with a few gems and a toy lizard. Please return to same spot and cover same as found. This is a great site for families with young kids, they will love it, expect to spend some time exploring and playing at this location. There are literally 3 "forts" at the site built by kids over the years. Lots of fun to be had, respect the work and joy of others, add to it but please don't tear it down. Hiked up to area with 2.5 year old and 12 year old with ease. Jogging stroller works fine, couple of slightly rough patches but doable. Would be a great area for mountain bikers or anyone just out for a wander.

Congrats to PrincessZoey for FTF!
