This cache has been archived.

IgnotusPeverell: Greetings. I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers for geocaches submitted to Geocaching.com.

This geocache is located on SWA or STL property. Notices were posted by Geocaching HQ on August 5, and September 2 to add the required text to educate players about permit requirements. The deadline was September 30, and that date has passed. Unfortunately, this geocache is now being archived. This geocache cannot be unarchived.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

State Wildlife area, you turn off right before you go into Lake Pueblo State Park from Pueblo West side. No fees. Parking available at start of trail: N 38 17.3791 W 104 48.3544. Probably another shorter way in/parking from road on other end of trail, but we didn't hike that far.

Spent about 15 or 20 minutes watching a hawk soar above us from here. Pretty spot. We walked in with jogging stroller, 2.5 year old and 12 year old. Trail has a couple of bumpy spots, one a little steep for the little one in the stroller...just took her out at that point. She likes to walk anyway. Great trail for running some energy off of the kids! The cache is a small camoflaged round container with a screw on lid, about 1.4" high by 4 inches wide. Started it out with some gems and a few toy lizards. Log book, no pen. Short climb from trail at end to cache location.

Congrats to Cx4 for FTF!
