Leap Year Series: Final Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: From the Northern Region Office, New Jersey State Parks Department:

Over a year ago New Jersey enacted a policy that all geocachers must obtain a permit to have their cache on State Park property. We have informed all geocaching host that this is their responsibility and have given them ample time to go about getting their permits. At this time, over a year later, there are still several caches that haven’t complied.

We ask that as the land managers for the attached properties we would like to have these illegal caches removed.

Based on the list provided by the state, I am forced to archive this listing. If you have a permit, get a permit or don't believe your cache is on state park/forest land, please contact me via email. Make sure you include the GC code.

Geocache Description:

Final is a large Lock n Lock on top of a vista, you will follow an old woods trail to summit. Should be a good place to take a break and reflect on the series.

Congratulations to all the FTF’s for leap year 2012: TheSurfcaster, BigA800, Hikerfam11, Dkeato, Kenvilguy, D’oorNights, IMSpider, Lati.dude, Gunner45, venus de millo, and MetsFanInNJ.

The Leap Year Puzzle:

On February 1st, 2012 a frog fell to the bottom of a 31 meter well. Each day he summons enough energy for one 3 meter leap up the well. Exhausted, he then hangs there for the rest of the day. At night, while he is asleep, he slips 2 meters backwards. How many days does it take him to escape from the well? Will he make it out by the end of february?

North Cords = add above answer to north cords found in the Leap Year Series Caches.

West Cords = add what all the Leap Year Series caches have in common to the west cords found in Leap Year Series Caches.

Note: Assume after the first leap that his hind legs are exactly three meters up the well. His hind legs must clear the well for him to escape.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.
