There will be hot dogs served at the event. Side dishes will be
greatly appreciated.
All attendants will be eligible for prizes donated by The Cache
Station. In addition to attendance prizes, there will be other
prize categories to be determined.
Have you ever wanted to do something more with that plain green
ammo can and needed an idea or two?
Have you ever had a lock n lock that needed that little something
extra to say “Hey I hid that one”?
Maybe you have a great peanut butter jar that is perfect but what
to do with that bright red lid?
Come join us at Palmetto Leaves Regional Park on February 11,
2012.
The event will start at 10AM and last until we are done caching and
camoing.
There will be demonstrations and examples of various types of camo
(ranging from paint to using surrounding local ground cover).
For those of you who are experienced in these areas your sharing of
your knowledge would be a great help. Also, if you can bring some
of your examples to show off some of your handiwork it would be
greatly appreciated by all.
There will be some different size containers and paint on hand for
those who would like to try their hand at camouflaging. If you want
to bring your own, that would cool. If not, there will be some
containers for you to practice on.
Once you enter the park, make sure to pull into the first parking
lot to the left and look for us. We will have a table set up with
all kinds of fun cache items.
Please don’t forget to bring your own drinks as well. If you
have a folding chair for you, it may come in handy. When you post
your will attend, you can include what you will bring if you would
like to bring something.
Also, this park is the perfect place to get all the caches you need
for GC1R1VW Florida Busy Day Challenge Cache in Daytona
area.
