Hiloshell & Del: We just discovered that not only is the cache not there, but the tree that it was hidden in is not there either and apparently has not been for quite some time. Have to wonder about the person who "found" it 7 days ago. hmmmmmmmm

A little known park on the Hamakua Coast
Although little known and not used frequently, this park is well maintained and very pleasant with the steam running alongside the pavilion. It has been said that menehunes play there sometimes. We don't guarantee that you will see any, but if you do, please post a picture, I would love to see one myself!
No Animals allowed in Park and please be respectful of the landscaping. Someone upkeeps it well.
The cache is not in or around the building and not close to the water.
Due to the danger of flash flooding and parasitic illnesses, swimming, wading or drinking water from streams in this area not recommended.

We changed out the really cool cache container with one that is less cool but more water tight. BE SURE YOU LOCK THE CASE AFTER SIGNING THE LOG. iT IS NOT ENOUGH TO JUST CLOSE THE TOP.
