A nano bison tube.
It originally was the GC1YQM5, ICU - Wandering Eyes IV cache, placed by EyeofSauron. It was the only one of the Eyes that has ever caught me in my lead-footed state.
In the autumn of 2011, MPI and the WPS made an attempt to reduce the number of deer kill claims by setting up stricter enforcement of the speed limits on Wilkes. This was one of the Wandering Eyes favourite places to park. Given that this autumn was known for less deer sightings rurally around the west of Winnipeg, I am not sure they will be able to show that this enhanced enforcement lead to less claims, versus just less deer on the roads. On the other hand, they will for sure be able to show that Winnipeg's coffers were enhanced by the work of the Wandering Eye.
The bison tube was initially red, but has sun-bleached to a copper-ish colour.
I only ever had one communication with the EyeofSauron. One night after working the evening shift I did 15 of the ICU caches before heading home to bed. The next day I got an email that said "Wow, just wow!"
Thanks for all the fun we had with your caches EyeofSauron! May that fun live on through this cache being back in play. RIP!
