If you have a large vehicle, you may want to park approximately 150 down hill, where there is a much larger bay to pull out. The original cache has been muggled;
Moved GZ and downsized to a "Hu Jr."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While down & up the hill we go
to & from the sea...
a game there is, we like to play
called "Spot the Neinei Tree"!
Who can play? you can play!
Like geocaching, it is free.
Do try this game and join the fun.
Go spot this funny tree!
Their Maori name is neinei
but I call them hula trees...
for when the wind blows & gives them a rustle
the dancers awake and shake their bustle-
a true delight to hear & see!
Speaking of this tree one day,
a friend did say to me
"Oh no! how so? but don't you know?
Why that's no hula,
that's a Dr Seuss tree!"
Who's to say? yay or nay?
such multitude of names have they
And who knew Dr Seu can do the hula dance too?
can you?!?!
With no further adieu,introducing to you
my newly named "Dr. Hu?"!
Well, Hufffala truffala, Hu-can-hula-come-see,
Dracophyllum latifolium, D. traversii,
Lorax almighty, some even call it a pineapple tree!
Call it what you may, but treat them kindly please,
as not everywhere or anyday you find these lovely trees.
