Marilyn vos Savant has been writing the popular “Ask Marilyn” column for PARADE, a supplemental magazine found in many of this nation's Sunday newspapers, since 1986. Her column has elicited responses from the elementary school level to post-graduate Ph.Ds. She is the author of several books, as well as short stories and essays. She is also the creator of an extremely popular puzzle called Numbrix, which consists of a 9 x 9 grid.
Your simple task is to complete the grid, filling in the missing numbers to create a string in numerical order from 1 to 81 so that the numbers follow a horizontal or vertical path—NO diagonals. Once you have filled in the grid, use the numbers in the six grid squares marked U, V, W, X, Y, and Z to solve for the final coordinates.
