Let's go caching all 366 days of the year!

A chance to get that elusive leap day cache that comes around only once in 1461 days.

Why risk a DNF or a night-time flashlight hunt on the 29th of February?Just join us at Arizona Pizza in Lanesboro, Massachusetts for a 2-29 event. This will fill in that elusive date on your caching calendar and you'll get to meet the people behind Berkshire GeoBash!

Arizona Pizza offers way more than pizza - all kinds of sandwiches, salads, wraps, and more. Everyone is responsible for what they eat.

What makes a 2-29 event special?

2012 is a leap year. Our calendar tells us that there should be 365 days in a year, but the Earth actually takes 365.25 days to orbit the Sun. If this was not corrected for, after a while we would be marking the Summer Solstice in the middle of Winter! To correct for this anomaly, we add an extra day - February 29th - every four years. Thanks to this, we get the opportunity to sneak in an extra day's caching in 2012.

When:

	On 29 Feb 2012 of course! Meet at 6:00pm and we'll go until 9:00pm (can't make it at 6:30 - come on anyway!)

What:

	Since it is a week night, we will keep it simple. A family friendly social gathering. Come and swap your tall tales about the one that got away, or compare notes about those fiendishly difficult puzzles, or just come to put a face to those names you've seen in the log books. Most importantly, come along to tick off the 29th of Feb on your finds calendar and support Berkshire GeoBash.
