Stephen King Highway “Skeleton Crew”

The cache is not located at the above listed coordinates. You must first figure out the REAL coordinates to “SKH – Skeleton Crew”. Please be aware of our slithery friends and watch for muggles. We understand most will not walk but park and grab so please use caution when stopping along the roads and use the side streets and use our parking coordinates.

Skeleton Crew” was originally published in hardcover form by Putnam. It has been reprinted multiple times in the years since in both hardcover and paperback forms. A limited edition of 1,000 copies was published by Scream/Press in 1986 featuring illustrations by J.K. Potter, as well as an extra "bonus" story, "The Revelations of 'Becka Paulson," which had originally appeared in two parts in Rolling Stone magazine (July 19 and August 2, 1984).

AB = “Skeleton Crew” is a collection of (A)(B) works, which includes short stories, a novella, and poems. In addition to the introduction, in which King directly addresses his readers in his signature conversational style, Skeleton Crew features an epilogue of sorts entitled "Notes" wherein King discusses the origins of several stories in the collection. The stories are collected from science-fiction and horror anthologies (Dark Forces, Shadows, Terrors, and New Terrors) genre magazine publications (Twilight Zone, Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine, Startling Mystery Stories, Weirdbook and Fantasy and Science Fiction) and popular magazines (Redbook, Gallery, Yankee and Playboy).

C = Skeleton Crew is Stephen King’s (C) collection of short stories.

D = “The Raft” was originally published in the November 198(D) issue of Gallery Magazine.

E = “The Monkey” was first published in Gallery Magazine in 198(E) (It is also the cover of the book).

F = “The Reaper’s Image” was first published in the Spring of 196(F) in a magazine called Startling Mystery Stories.
