This area was originally vineyards, owned by the Mansell family. The Mansell family were one of many families to take on irrigation farming in Mildura. In the early to mid 70's the Mansells began to subdivide the vineyards into residential properties. This continued until about the late 90's. The original grape packing sheds still stand on private property behind the residential housing on rural drive. now re-purposed to house earth moving equipment.

The streets in and around riverside avenue were named by the Mansells and are named after local Murray paddleboats.

Many of the vineyards surrounding the CBD of Mildura have since been subdivided the same. This continues as the Mildura and surrounding areas grows.

The cache is at the entrance of private property, however there is no need to drive down the driveway. Permission has been given for the cache to be there.

The Cache is a 200ml sistema container and contains a logbook, pencil and a few small swappables.
