The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center

Geocache Description:

A lovely and impressive piece of architecture and a good place to be on a Sunday at 09:30. Deo Gloria.

When the district of Swellendam was severed from Stellenbosch as "de Colonie in de Verre Gelegene Districten" (Colony in the outlying districts) in 1745 and the Drostdy was built in the year thereafter, farmers had already settled as far east as the present day Mossel bay. It was, how ever, only 53 years later, in 1798 that a congregation was established here.
The church and cemetry area which contains more than 700 graves was enclosed by a ring wall in 1840. The front wall has since been moved twice but the Cape Teak entrance gate and the arched gate way are the original. On the ground level the church seats 901 persons and the gallery another 516.
Vistors are welcome to walk throuh the building. Entrance fee may vary but presently R5.00.
