Geocache Description:

this trail will take you down into the valley, along the river bure and through the river side lowlands and across onto the miniature steam rail line. finished off with a short walk along the top of the valley looking down on the river and the valley.

this is the final cache on this trail. its the largest of them all and has been located here to show you the sluice and the original course or the river bure. here it passes underneath the road and through the fields where it rejoins the current course at the bure valley rail bridge. the current course was dug out by hand to suit the needs of the mill which once also hosted a lock. the lock cut is still visible but stops just short of the road. take care when signing this log as this road can get quite busy, especially in the summer. if you aren't particularly tall this one might be hard to retrieve.
