This is my first cache, so please be kind [:)] The cache is placed near where I work, for easy maintenance. It is situated near the main road on a very busy route through Newton Abbot, easy walking distance from the town and all local amenities, the terrain is flat all around and sutible for all. The cache is hidden on the public road and not within the boundry of the ambulance/fire station.
As the cache is so small it only contains a log, literally nothing else will fit in the container, this is also why I have given it a 2 difficulty rating, once you know where to look it should be easy to find. As this is my first placed cache I have used it as a test run, the 2nd one I am planning will be larger. The cache is a grey coloured cylinder which is magnetic, and the colour of the cache matches the colour of the hiding area, which is obviously made of metal. The cache is hidden on the public footpath and not within the boundry of the ambulance/fire station (marked by the no entry signs) please do not enter the ambulance/fire station peoperty, there is no need and this will avoid unnecessary hassle and challenges. There are usually cars parked just inside the boundry of the stations, there also isn't any need to search around them. There isn't really a lot more I can say about the area, although as it is such a busy place, and the cache is placed on a public street, stealth will be the ultimate requirement. Please take a pen/cil to mark the log.
