FRANCAIS.

L'église Saint-Bonnet se situe dans le bourg de Saint-Bonnet de Four. Elle date du XIe siècle et possède un portail polylobé. Au XIVe siècle, s'est construit, sur le coté droit du transept, une chapelle gothique. Le clocher de l'église de Saint-Bonnet de Four est très particulier et constitue la curiosité de la commune.Il est construit sur une tour carrée, et surmonté d'une flèche octogonale qui est tordue c'est ce que l'on appelle un clocher tors. Le clocher fut incendié par la foudre en 1894 et reconstruit avec du bois trop vert qui se vrilla rapidement pour devenir ce qui constitue sa renommée aujourd'hui. En 1978, lors de la réfection de la toiture de l'église, décidée par le conseil municipal, les services des bâtiments de France exigèrent une restauration à l'identique. Ainsi, la flèche a gardé sa torsion d'un huitième de tour de gauche à droite, accompagnée d'un important dévers. La couverture actuelle est en bardeaux de châtaigner. L'église de Saint-Bonnet de Four est inscrite depuis 1963 à l'inventaire supplémentaire des monuments historiques.

The church of Saint-Bonnet is located in the village of Saint-Bonnet Four. It dates from the eleventh century and has a multilobed portal. In the fourteenth century was built on the right side of the transept, a Gothic chapel. The steeple of the church of Saint-Bonnet Four is very special and is the curiosity of commune.Il is built on a tower square, and surmounted by an octagonal spire that is twisted is what is called a twisted spire. The steeple was burnt by lightning in 1894 and rebuilt with wood is too green vrilla rapidly to become what is its Fame today. In 1978, when re-roofing of church, decided by the council, building services of France demanded an identical restoration. Thus, the arrow has kept its twist of an eighth of a turn from left to right, accompanied by a significant tilt. The current coverage is in chestnut shingles. The church of Saint-Bonnet Four since 1963 is listed in the inventory of historical monuments.
