la Maladrerie Saint-Lazare, à Beauvais, vous dévoile neuf siècles d'histoire... La Maladrerie Saint-Lazare, à Beauvais, témoigne de la remarquable architecture hospitalière du Moyen-Âge. Installé sur un terrain clos de plus de trois hectares, le site a gardé ses trois parties correspondant à ses trois fonctions d’usage : au nord, la ferme, au centre, l’ancien logis des religieux et la chapelle romane, au sud, l’enclos des malades. Vendu sous la Révolution,la Maladrerie Saint-Lazare devient une simple ferme jusqu’au XIXe siècle avant de trouver une seconde vie grâce à sa restauration. Aujourd'hui, seule la grange se visite, remarquable par ses ses sept cent quarante mètres carrés, elle a conservé sa charpente d'origine en chêne. Elle est divisé en trois nefs que séparent deux rangs de neuf grandes arcades sur piles carrées. Si vous levez la tête, vous verrez quelques inscriptions sur les pierres, des repères de l'état des récoltes. Sur sa façade extérieure, la présence de trous reste un mystère : s'agit-il des traces d'un ancien pigeonnier ou d'un séchoir ? derrière la Maladrerie se trouve un "trésor", le jardin d'inspiration médiévale, au tracé géométrique. Classé monument historique la Maladrerie Saint-Lazare, est une des maladreries les mieux conservées en France.
