Geocache Description:

A Flash Mob event to celebrate that extra 24 hours we get every 4 years. What better way to spend it than on caching time!

Coordinates & time #s are 29’s as much as I could get, just for fun Difficulty is a 4 because its only possible once every four years - in reality it’s a 1. Are you close to filling in that calendar on your profile? Here’s your chance to fill that one elusive day. AND Groundspeak has promised a new souvenir for anyone logging a find on 2/29/12!

EVENT SCHEDULE: Gather unobtrusively near the coordinates, Event is about 100‘ north (you’ll see) 5:15 - LEAP to Ground Zero, where you will find the logbook (and probably some other cachers;) You must sign the log book to claim the smiley and the date on your calendar! You get a few minutes to mingle and chat, or plot your night-caching excursions. 5:16 - DAY: From the Almanac: (Sunset 5:38pm + Day length 11h 10m = ALL kinds of time for caching!) 5:29 - FLASH time! It’s group photo time. Assemble quickly, take your pics, and be-gone! 5:30 - CACHE time! Event is over. Disperse as rapidly as you arrived. Off you go to find other caches in the area, or do what you will with your extra 24 hours! HAPPY LEAP YEAR 2012!!!
