A nice quick drive by- unless the building is in use- hidden in a cachey spot.
The theme of the cache is the sea and its many facets so if leaving something please try and stay within the theme- it shouldn’t be too hard
Sux Munths in a Leaky Boat (said in a Kiwi accent) is not, as intended, anywhere near the sea or even water. Instead it is near a beautiful old country church. No doubt those of our forefathers that spent six months in a leaky boat- whether by choice as my descendants did, or in chains as others were- would have been saying the odd prayer or two.
I was born & bred on the east coast of New Zealands South Island so the magestic Pacific was part of everyday life. Whether it was a calm green/ teal/ azure blue mirror or a boiling milky brown/ steel gray raging tempest, pounding the shore and wearing away the land and in the process revealing such marvels as the Moeraki Boulders. It’s not until you move away from something than has been there all along, that you realise how much it is ingrained in your soul.
This is a cache for all those who love the sea but are unable to live near it anymore. Whether it’s watching the breakers, walking along a beach and finding what the waves have washed up, fishing, being on it surfing or boating, or being in it like me. I took up Scuba Diving at a late age. I doubt I will get time to dive all the amazing places on the globe and see all the sights that are there to be seen, so I will content myself with Australia, the Pacific Islands & with a bit of luck some NZ dives.
