I saw this place on the way to do some other cache's in the area and i thought it would be a nice place to hide a cache. There is a picnic ground nearby this cache as well as two more cache's in the area. The Brisbane Rangers is a very lovely place to visit it has pleasant bushwalks,scenic drives and picnic area's there are some great wildflowers shows with a magnificent array of colour in spring. Brisbane Rangers is also a haven for wildlife keep an eye open for Eastern Grey Kangaroos,Wallabies,Echidnas,Possums and Gliders also when i put this cache down there were a lot of Butterflies.Please note that i have talked to the local Park Rangers and when you are doing this cache we ask that you keep to the formed tracks and avoid muddy areas this is to help prevent the spread of Cinnamon Fungus which causes dieback in the grass trees. If you decide to stop and have a picnic and you have kids(or if you are a big kid) bring some string along as there is a dam nearby to try your luck at yabbying.
