Geocache Description:

As 2012 dawns the excitement about the 2012 Olympics in London mounts. Spurred on by this, the people of Poynton have their own outdoor gym equipment in a play park near Barnaby Road. The park can be accessed from London Road South (although parking may be a problem) and from Barnaby Road where street parking is available.

In addition to the slide, swings and springy toys this park now includes a variety of outdoor gym equipment including: Tai Chi circles, exercise bikes, cross trainers, sit ups, dips, lat pull down, chest press and leg press equipment. Elsewhere in the park a football pitch and zip wire have been provided. The cache is a small clip and lock container located at the far end of the park from the outdoor gym equipment. It contains a log book and pencil with space for a few swapables and trackables. It can be retrieved from within the park. This is our first cache so any feedback would be appreciated. Flag Counter
